MISSION STATEMENT
Members of the Arizona Private Security Professionals' Association believe that cooperation with other security professionals promotes the best interests of those who utilize or are affected by private security services. Members of the Association share a common responsibility and dedication to ethical behavior and adopt this code to declare the Association's principles and standards oft he practice.
CODE OF ETHICS
As a member of the Arizona Private Security Professionals' Association, l PLEDGE:
- To strive for and promote the professionalism of the private security industry.
- To conduct myself in my profession with integrity, sincerity and morality in all dealings with my clients, co-workers, employees and fellow security professionals.
- To cooperate with all recognized and responsible law enforcement and governmental agencies in matters within the scope of their proper authority.
- To incessantly strive to become and remain informed on issues affecting the security industry.
The Code of Ethics of the Arizona Private Security Professionals' Association establishes obligations that may be higher than those mandated by law. In any instance where the Code of Ethics and the law conflict, the obligations of the law must take precedence.
